Abstract
A procedure for determining the performance of cellular radio terminal diversity antenna arrangements has been described. The procedure allows a controlled and static multipath environment to be established either by simulation or by distributing sources inside an anechoic chamber. The procedure requires either real hardware (measurement approach) or accurate radiation pattern predictions, and appropriate parameters (angle spread, XPR) for real multipath environments.
