Abstract
In this paper, we show that the concatenated code of Reed-Solomon (RS) code and convolutional code (CC), especially, concatenated with recursive systematic convolutional (RSC) code, to have better BER performance than non-concatenated codes or concatenated code with non-systematic convolutional (NSC) code. By concatenating two different codes we can get the effect of improving total BER due to benefits of RS codes correcting burst errors that is occurred by decoding process of convolutional code.
