Abstract :
This paper details the advantages of testing installed electronic combat systems with threat scenarios that simulate actual combat situations, including simultaneous multiple threats and seamless transition from one phase of an encounter to another (i.e., tracking state to launch-of-missile state). Performing this type of O-level testing with a single, free space radiating piece of test equipment saves time and yields an increased level of confidence in the operability of installed combat systems.
