Abstract :
As the increasing requirement for securing and the development of communication technology, network technology and computer technology, the video surveillance based on CDMA1x has developed quickly in this few years. In order to adapt the characteristic of CDMAlx wireless network environment which is low bandwidth and high bit error rates, what kind of video coding to choose should taken into account. In the paper, a video surveillance server based on CDMAlx and H.264 is put forward. The implementing of H.264 video coding for this server is also presented. Some video quality of service(QoS) control strategies, such as congestion control, rate control, error control and so on, are analyzed. The result when the QoS control strategies are used in the real CDMA1x wireless network environment is given too.
