  • Abstract
Intracranial arterial dolichoectasia (IADE) is a cerebral vascular disease characterized by ectatic, extended and zigzag brain artery. It affects more frequently the posterior circulation system (vertebro-basilar system). Involvement of both the posterior and anterior circulation system (carotid systems) is rare. Here, we report a 71-year-old man who suffered from paroxysmal vertigo and diplopia. He was diagnosed as IADE by brain CT scan, MRI and CTA. This patient presented dolichoectasia involving both the basilar and carotid artery systems.
