Abstract :
In order to extract data from power engineering graphics to visualization software, this paper presents a proposal to generate monitoring graphics from power engineering graphics directly. First It defines the DXF document template which is composed of five chart levels and the corresponding simplified graphical units, then generates the specific DXF document according to the power engineering graphics, finally the user-interface graphical files are generated by a DXF data extraction software.
