  • Abstract
    Proposal for investigation of the possibility to obtain compact, effective high current electron accelerator for medium energy range using plasma wake field acceleration (PWFA) mechanism is presented. The goal of proposed investigation is not an achievement of highest possible acceleration rate, but effective increase of the energy of high current (~kA), low energy (~2 MeV) electron accelerator, due to interaction of electron bunches with plasma wake waves
