This paper describes a compact, self-contained, gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) based, millimeter-wave transceiver module developed at Northrop Grumman. Transceiver characteristics and results of a previous broadband wireless access (BRA) system deployment using the MMIC transceiver are reported
