Abstract :
This paper analyses the characters of flux vector when employing space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) overmodulation algorithm. The algorithm can improve the utilization of DC bus voltage greater extent. One novel algorithm makes overmodulation easier and simple. Simulation results of the algorithm using in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive verifies its effectiveness and utility.
