Abstract :
This paper concerns delay-dependent robust H∞ filtering with pole constraints for neutral delay systems with uncertainty. Here the uncertainty is assumed to be of polytopic type, which belongs to a known convex compact set. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and free-weighting matrices, a new delay-dependent filtering criterion is proposed which ensure the error system be stability. A stable linear H∞ filter is obtained, which guarantees the filtering error system have a pre-specific attenuation level or an (almost) optimal attenuation level. Moreover, the filtering error system dynamics can be constrained to some specific LMI regions. Numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the method and the improvement over some existing methods.
