Abstract :
Radio frequency identification (RFID) comprises a base radio transmitter/receiver, or reader, which can interrogate, display, and sometimes rewrite, an electronic code held in a remote device, transponder, and thus identify any item with which the transponder is associated. This paper introduces the ideas of RFID, using TIRIS technology as examples, with particular emphasis an how these principles can be utilised in practical applications
