Abstract
This paper addresses the synthesis of high-frequency triport uninterruptible power supply topologies for the emerging fiber networks. A general representation in terms of power flow within the UPS is given and from this representation, many circuit topologies are derived. Finally, specific examples of UPS for FTTH, FTTC and HFC are presented and their performance demonstrated with the experimental results
