Abstract
In this paper the author puts the selection of technological innovation pattern and entrepreneurs´ mental models in a unified theoretical framework, and discusses the relationship between them. Theoretical analysis shows that entrepreneurs who have flexible mental model are inclined to choose independent innovation pattern, entrepreneurs who have moderate mental model are apt to select cooperative innovation model and entrepreneurs who have conservative mental model are prone to elect imitative innovation.
