Abstract
Ask any UK based organisation if it aspires to be world class and the reply will almost invariably be yes. However regrettably few organisations take this aim and convert it into an honest assessment of their current position, let alone a structured strategic plan to move forward. To help address this issue, the authors introduce what is becoming one of the most commonly used and freely available European measurement processes to assess “world class”
