Abstract :
Determining whether machine vision can be applied successfully requires an intensive and comprehensive approach to problem specification and evaluation for each specific application. A primer on applying machine vision to electrical component manufacturing is given. It includes an overview of machine vision systems in terms of hardware and software, some pointers on creating a good image, and a systematic process of applying a machine vision system
