Abstract :
Business enterprises must deal with diverse competition, reduce the cost of doing business, and rapidly develop new services and products. To address these requirements enterprises must constantly reconsider and optimize the way they do business and change their information systems and applications to support evolving business processes. More and more companies are implementing workflow management. For the problems exiting in the information system of SMEs such as inferior adaptability, and the poor reusability and flexibility, we propose cordwood structure for workflow development framework in this paper. Every relative independent function is taken as a module in the method, and we proposed a mixed-mode workflow management framework of flexibility and reusability based on the open source workflow engine. The system is composed of business application platform of C/S structure, configuration tools of B/S structure and workflow engine. Modules of organization management, authority management, workflow model management and form management are easy to change, so using modular architecture methods we encapsulate these modules into the configuration tool of C/S structure. Workflow development framework based on mixed mode can develop good flexibility, easy maintenance business office systems, and it can also save the development cost and improve the efficiency of the development.
