Abstract :
Summary form only given. We present the results of numerical simulation of SBS in single optical fibers with the aim of studying how the probability function of Stokes power and the spectrum of Stokes intensity are affected by pump power level above threshold. In particular, we show that the broadening and hole burning of the Stokes intensity spectrum are caused by modification of the SBS statistics.
