Abstract
Many approaches to modeling business processes have been used to date, but most of them are characterized by ambiguity which makes them difficult to enjoy by the relevant analysts as they are not easy to learn and design. The Simple Business Process Modeling Notation (SBPMN) as a business process modeling method designed to capture business processes in early phase of systems development. This paper tries to demonstrate that SBPMN is capable of constructing model with semantic errors. Therefore, it tackles the source of this problem and proposed SBPMN+, a new business process modeling notation, where semantic errors are realizable in early phase of systems development through mapping its models to a formal process language, specifically Petri nets.
