Abstract
Summary form only given. Fluorescence imaging, exploiting either endogenous fluorophores or exogenous markers, is a well-established tool for biological researches and for medical diagnosis. To provide a comprehensive understanding of the time characteristics of the fluorescence emissions, we developed two lifetime imaging systems having different features and fields of application.
