Abstract :
A method for tuning a PI-like fuzzy controller is proposed. The relationship between parameters and performance of the fuzzy controller is discussed. This includes defining the relationships between parameters and control performance, which parameters are more important and which are less important, which parameters should be tuned first and which later, and in which direction parameters should be adjusted. The result is a guide for tuning fuzzy control systems
