Abstract
Different methods for feedback designs are compared. These includes classical proportional integral derivative state variable based methods like pole placement, linear quadratic regulator, H infinity and μ-analysis. These methods are then applied for the design and analysis of the RHIC phase and radial loop, yielding a performance, stability and robustness comparison
