Abstract
The authors describe the circuit design and measured results of a monolithic sample-and-hold (S/H) amplifier which has 100-Ms/s sampling rate and a 700-MHz bandwidth. Bipolar transistors were used for a diode bridge. A high-speed high-precision design was adopted for the input buffer and switch. Experimental results prove that the bridge has satisfactory characteristics. This S/H can be applied to 100-Ms/s 400-MHz bandwidth oscilloscopes
