Abstract :
In this paper, a FSS unit with band-pass property is designed. The angle stability and polarization stability of this unit is studied through simulation. Then a finite FSS composed by this unit is designed to be the planar radome. A single circular polarization microstrip antenna and a phased array antenna are used to verify the change of the performance of the antenna or the phased array antenna when a radome is placed in the near field region.
