Abstract
This paper describes the development and implementation of the FRAMES baseband channel emulator (BBCE), which performs the emulation of a mobile radio channel, based on either actual measured radio channels or a set of predefined channel models (ITU). Using the BBCE, the bit error rate for various services is evaluated, as a function of the signal to noise ratio, for various propagation environments, including indoor, pedestrian and vehicular, for various delay profiles and mobility conditions
