Abstract
A solenoidal basis discretization of the volume electric-field integral equation is developed that avoids the need for volumetric integrals. The resulting formulation produces a symmetric system, enables an efficient matrix generation, and requires the fewest unknowns of existing low-order tetrahedral-mesh approaches.
