  • Abstract
A modeling approach is presented for conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis of permanent magnet (PM) motor-drive systems. In this modeling approach, three-phase circuits are used to represent differential-mode (DM) and common-mode (CM) behaviors of PM motors and AC cables. These models are accurate up to 10 MHz which enables analysis of conducted EMI emission of PM motor-drive systems. Experimental results are presented to confirm the validity and the precision of the presented approach.
