Abstract
A review of the vectorial control methods for three-phase AC/DC boost converters is first presented. All blocks of the control scheme such as PWM, PI controllers are optimized. The problems associated with fast current dynamics at a step-down current reference due to the limited voltage available are explained both with solutions based on regular PI or novel synchronous reference frame hysteresis control
