Abstract
The controlled sources method provides a direct graphical technique to construct large-signal circuits of resonant inverters. In this article the method is varied to be suitable for modeling DC-DC resonant converters as well. The modified controlled sources method is illustrated with examples, and the PSpice implementation of the series resonant converter is given. All static and dynamic characteristics of the resonant converter can be deduced by means of DC-sweep and AC-sweep simulations of this model
