Abstract :
The leisure farmland mainly situated in the urban fringe is a comprehensive scenic spot which provides not only the functions of agricultural production and the life supporting, but also the amenity value of environment for human beings. With excessive urban expansion and under the pressure of the comparative benefits, the leisure farmland has a tendency of converting to the non-agricultural uses. Therefore, it is an important to use scientific method to estimate the total value of the leisure farmland precisely, which can provide scientific basis for the decision-making of farmland protection. This article constructs the ZTCM model and evaluates the recreational value of Heping village according to investigation by the research group at Heping village in Wuhan in 2006.The research results show that the recreational value of Heping village is 10,014,502 yuan in 2005.
