Abstract :
In low frequency bands, monopole antenna and its antenna factor are used for electric field strength measurement. Three-antenna method is well-known method as one of the antenna calibration methods. However, standard field methods are widely employed in the monopole antenna calibration at national metrology institutes. Recently, we have proposed a three-antenna method for electrically short monopole antenna and investigated the method by a numerical simulation. In this paper, we perform measurements for actual electrically short monopole antennas and investigate the proposed method by experiments.
