Abstract
A new method for design of a intrusion detector is suggested. The method is based upon the property of noise self-oscillator to produce Doppler signal only in case an object is moving within its coherence (correlation) range. The latter is defined by the width of power spectral density of the generated random signal. Preliminary results of design and investigation of noise waveform Ka-band Doppler sensor based on autodyne effect are preesented. The sensor suggested is very promising for design of various detectors because of their low false alarm rate, construction simplicity and high reliability
