Abstract
This paper presents a new SWATH Coastal Research Vessel design. Creation of this design came out of the well-defined need for a small coastal research vessel capable of operations in rough weather at low operating cost. Various SWATH configurations were compared, and a design was developed that meets a variety of ocean vessel requirements
