Abstract :
Flexible organization of functions and software reuse are now becoming the focus issues in theoretical research and application in the field of decision support system for emergency management (DSS4EM). The metadata and its evolution process are introduced and summarized in this paper. And then, a metadata-based flexible function model (MBFFM) for DSS4EM is presented. Finally, function, structure, and realization of the micro-operation are researched in detail. The proposed MBFFM carries the very strong practicality and universality, and benefits for improvement of flexible and software reuse of DSS4EM.
