  • Abstract
With the growing concern about agriculture, country and farmer issue in China, the number of investment projects in agriculture is greatly increasing. As a weak industry, it will have a direct influence on agricultural development whether investment decisions of agricultural projects are accurate, so that it will affect the level of overall economic benefits in a region. Therefore, the problem that the general decision methods are difficult to solve is how to select the best agricultural investment project. In this paper, value engineering (VE) is applied, on which basis new index systems of evaluation are worked out, and then AHP-multistage fuzzy comprehensive appraisal method is adopted to analyze them for their factors are uncertain, objective and fuzzy, in order to improve the scientific decision level of agricultural projects and offer the decision basis for the decisionmaker and corresponding department.
