  • Abstract
Increasing the capacity of wind generation connected to power system affects many aspects of system operation and behaviour, both steady state and transient stability will be affected. Furthermore, this influence will increase following the increase in penetration of wind in generation capacity. This paper presents how the wind farm impacts the steady state stability of the generation system. The variable output of generator may lead to temperature rise of the machine. Through a weak system example and based on a thermal model, this paper will study the heating problem in generator. In this paper, the simulation will least to 24 hours to analyse the wind energy effect in a long run.
