  • Abstract
This paper presents a GENCO´s maintenance schedule in a deregulated power system. The basis of maintenance plan in competitive environment is different from the traditional centralized power systems. Every GENCO would like to make as much as profit. Taking into account the market price forecast, the profit resulted from selling electricity during the whole year makes the main part of the objective function, The proposed model consists of an objective function and related constraints, e.g. maintenance window, generation capacity, load and network flow. By applying the mixed-integer programming on a benchmark, we make a discussion about the simulation results.
