  • Abstract
An image-based technique was used to track stress and strain fields in the human finger under compressional loading. Magnetic Resonance (MR) images were taken before and during compressional loading of the finger tissue. These images were used to drive nonlinear deformation of a finite element (FE) model of the tissue
