Abstract
Tendon reflexes at the elbow joint were quantified over various elbow flexion angles in both stroke patients and normal subjects. Tapping force threshold, reflex gain, and contraction rate were evaluated and they were significantly different across the flexion angles between the two groups, indicating both a decreased threshold and increased gain. The presented system approach provides quantitative evaluation of both kinds of changes
