Abstract
The author presents a mathematical model of multibus networks in multiprocessor systems. The asymptotic theory of Markovian access to collision channels, developed by J.-T. Lim and S.M. Meerkov (IEEE Trans. Commun. Vol. COM-35, p.1278-88, 1987), is applied for performance evaluation of multibus multiprocessor systems. Specifically, analytical formulas for calculating performance characteristics are obtained
