Abstract :
This assistive technology (AT) device was designed for a child with cerebral palsy (CP) and enables the user to perform tasks hands free. The design implements a harness that is easily attached to a posterior walker. The lap belt utilizes a car seatbelt buckle securing the user into the harness. Attachable leg loops with carabiner attachments are used in conjunction with the lap belt to bear the user´s body weight. The hands free walker will improve an individual´s independence in daily living
