Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the transfer of information between vision and proprioception. In the authors´ previous research, they studied the transfer of information from vision to proprioception. Their results showed that information concerning location and size was imprecise but that linearity was maintained. In this study, the authors investigated the internal transfer of proprioception. Their results showed that linearity was lost. When they compared their data under three coordinate models; i.e., the Cartesian, polar, and kinesthetic coordinate models, the authors found that the kinesthetic coordinate model enabled the greatest reproducibility
