  • Abstract
    The 2013 IEEE International Future Energy Challenge (IFEC) broke the record for participation, with a total of 36 teams submitting proposals for two topics, Topic A and Topic B. Topic A, "Highly Efficient Grid-Tied Microinverter for Photovoltaic Panels Using Wide Bandgap Devices," was held at Ohio State University, Columbus, United States. Topic B, "Low Power Off-Line Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Driver with Long Lifetime," was held at Zhejiang University (ZJU) in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, a southeast province of China. The final events for both topics were successfully completed at the end of July 2013.
