Abstract :
The advent of the intelligent environment or "ambient intelligence" is a serious challenge for the systems designer. The systems of the future are small, complex, flexible and consume little energy. These conflicting requirements require new ways of designing that differ radically from conventional methods. A real software washing machine solves the restrictions of today\´s methods in the near future.
