Abstract
Single polymer micro-fibers and fibro-porous meshes for potential use in soft-tissue biomaterial applications were fabricated using an electrospinning method. Micro-fibers of diameters less than 4 μm were produced, a size demonstrated in previous in vivo single fiber studies to minimize fibrous capsule formation. A next step will be to evaluate mesh performance in vivo
