Abstract
As people age, the visual properties such as the space frequency characteristic, the spectrum characteristic and the focus adjustment characteristic, also decrease. The display method that we developed corrects the visual properties of old people. The method also rectifies the space frequency characteristic and the spectrum characteristic. For old people, the contrast sensitivity of the high range of space frequency falls off compared with younger people. Then the revised display of the space frequency characteristic results in the distinct edge in the high range of space frequency. The revised display of the spectrum characteristic changes the respond to the RGB sensitivity of the retina falls off in old people. We have developed an intelligent visual display method for elderly peoples
