Abstract :
The paper describes a new power sensors´ calibration method suitable for the twin type coaxial microcalorimeter. This method allows an intrinsic compensation of the lines losses, thus producing direct results, as in an ideal unitary-gain microcalorimeter. Furthermore, it does not require the microcalorimeter calibration step with the short circuit and an equation similar to that for the ideal system is applied for the measurand computation.
