Abstract :
Quality of Experience is an important part of overall quality definition in order to include user and human perception into the product development process. An adequate way of linking up Quality of Experience with algorithm development has, until now, been missing. Therefore, a demonstrative approach, initiated by a methodological literature review, for this linkage in the field of scaleable and adaptive free viewpoint video representation for video communication, is presented.
