Abstract
Using the method of systems dynamics, the paper attempts to develop an emulational model of the Triple Helix of industry-university-research institution. Drawing on both statistical data and computer simulation, the paper aims to increase insights into China´s system of innovation and understand the interdependence and interaction among university, industry and research institution. The policy sensitive analysis is also done for the test of the impacts of government´s policies on the whole innovation system. The results show that the interaction among university, industry and research institution will produce synergistic effect, greatly enhancing the capability of national innovation system. The results of policy sensitive test suggest a large room for Chinese government to perform in China´s national innovation system.
