Abstract
This study aims to diagnose the significant differences between the Malaysian teenager´s demographic profile and family purchase decision of the game console. By using stratified disproportionate random sampling, 150 questionnaires were distributed to school students in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant difference between gender and family purchase decision. Thus, it is suggested that the teenager´s gender should be given some consideration in future research efforts. The research and practical implications of these results are discussed and opportunities for future research are provided.
