Abstract :
In this paper a procedure of determination, on the basis of soft computing methodology, of the more stringent normal for the potential culprits of the power quality deterioration is suggested. The more stringent normal (with the lesser range in values of measures of power quality) in comparison with standards for the potential culprits of the power quality deterioration will favour the electromagnetic compatibility the more adequately. Of course, normative and legal aspects of such normal applying in power systems design, in service, etc. demand the subsequent research.
